Jorge Salinas was born on July 27, 1968 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He is an actor and producer, known for Amores Perros (2000), Las vías del amor (2002) and Mariana de la noche (2003). He has been married to Elizabeth Álvarez since October 15, 2011. He was previously married to Fátima Boggio.

Participates in the musical Solo para Mujeres, the equivalent of The Full Monty
