- Yûzaburô Sakaguchi was born on September 3, 1941 in Fukuoka, Japan. He was an actor, known for Masked Ninja Akakage (1967), Akakage: 3-D Adventure Movie (1969) and Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx (1972). He died on July 13, 2003 in Fukuoka, Japan.
- Hobbies included horseback riding and swordfighting.
- Best known as the title hero in the 60s TV superhero series, Masked Ninja Akakage (1967). In 1998, he wrote a book on his fond experience entitled, "Red Shadow is Here!" ("Aka-Kage Sanjô!").
