Stand-in and stunt double for Bette Davis in 37 of her films. The two were also friends when not working together. When Davis left the studio during her famous lawsuit, she ensured that Sage's employment would not be halted by arranging for her a separate contract and guaranteeing her work as a day-player on some of the studio's other films.
