- Bako Sadykov was born on July 13, 1941 in Bukhara, Uzbek SSR, USSR [now Uzbekistan]. He was a director and writer, known for Smerch (1989), The Blessed Bukhara (1991) and Dzhosus/Lazutchik (1992). He died on June 25, 2026 in Berlin, Germany.
- Graduated from the directing faculty of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute, as well as the Higher Courses of Screenwriters and Directors in Moscow.
- From 1967 to 1993, he worked as a director at the Tajikfilm film studio, creating a number of feature and documentary films that went down in the history of Tajik cinema.
