Carles Sabater was born on September 21, 1962 in Barcelona, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He was an actor, known for Cyrano de Bergerac (1986), Youth (2004) and 60/90 (2008). He died on February 13, 1999 in Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Carles Sabater and musician Pep Sala formed musical group Sau in 1987. Sau was a great success until Carles' sudden death after the first concert of Sau's last tour, "XII". Pep Sala dissolved Sau thereafter, but he continues to play.

Boyfriend of actress and coach Laura Jou by the time of his sudden death.
