- Trained as an actress, she worked in theatre, television and film for over fifteen years. Somewhere during that time she started writing, first for theatre and television, later on mainly for film. Eventually the writing completely took over the acting and with Candy & Bonita she also started directing. She is married to actor Frederik Brom, has two daughters and a dog and lives in Amsterdam.
