Biography

He appeared in three films with his best friend Gaspard Ulliel: Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), A Heavenly Vintage (2009) and Saint Laurent (2014).

Brother Yannick Renier is also an actor.

Has three children. Sons Arthur and Oscar (born in 2001 and 2006, respectively) from his relationship with Helene Helinck, and a daughter, Camille (born in 2018), from his relationship with Laura Léonard.

As of 2022, Renier has starred in 14 films that have premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, 7 of them have competed for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section: The Child (2005) (winner), Lorna's Silence (2008), The Kid with a Bike (2011), Saint Laurent (2014), The Unknown Girl (2016), Double Lover (2017), and Frankie (2019).

Both his parents are Osteopaths.
