Gina Garcia is a proud graduate of the trailer parks and state schools of Arizona. She's Mexican and Cherokee on her father's side and ALL the white countries on her mother's. Her half-hour heartfelt comedies celebrate messy women over forty, and their try-hard shenanigans in their desperate pursuit to belong. Her scripts have been recognized by The Austin Film Festival, The Writers Lab, The Cinestory Foundation, Final Draft's Big Break, The Inroads Fellowship Program, The Breakthrough Reading Series, and the NBC TV Writers Program.
