Biography

Helena Růžičková was born on June 13, 1936 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. She was an actress and writer, known for Trhala fialky dynamitem (1992), La piovra (1984) and Who Wants to Kill Jessie? (1966). She was married to Jirí Ruzicka. She died on January 4, 2004 in Plzen, Czech Republic.

She is the mother of Jirí Ruzicka.

She was director's first choice for the part of Matylda in How to Drown Dr. Mracek, the Lawyer (1975), eventually played by Míla Myslíková.

She was director's first choice for the part of Goody in Z pekla stestí (1999), eventually played by Miriam Kantorková.

She was considered for the part of Stepa in Oil Lamps (1971), eventually played by Iva Janžurová.
