- William Rus is a producer, writer, director, and former Senior Vice President of Marketing at Paramount Pictures. He spent more than two decades at the studio, where he oversaw custom advertising campaigns for more than 100 theatrical releases. During his career, he produced a wide range of documentaries, television specials, featurettes, DVD extras, and tribute reels. He worked on critical successes and commercial blockbusters, including popular franchises (Mission: Impossible, Indiana Jones, Transformers, Iron Man, and Star Trek) as well as Academy Award-winning Best Pictures (Forrest Gump, Braveheart, and Titanic). A Chicago native, Rus earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.F.A. from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has served on the Academy's International Feature Film nominating committee for the Oscars.
