- France Rumilly was born on May 1, 1939 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France. She is an actress, known for The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez (1964), Playtime (1967) and The Gendarme and the Extra-Terrestrials (1979).
- Jack Pinoteau engaged Rumilly in 1962 to play the sketch entitled "Le gros lot" in his feature film Les Veinards, co-directed with Jean Girault and Philippe de Broca. She played the role of his daughter, Miss Danielle Beaurepaire, alongside Louis de Funès.
- Was educated in a convent and at the Institut Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. Afterwards, she attended a drama school and prepared for the entrance exams when she was spotted by the director Jack Pinoteau during an audition.
