Stefano Rulli was born on October 3, 1949 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He is a writer and director, known for The Best of Youth (2003), Romanzo Criminale (2005) and The Stolen Children (1992). He was previously married to Clara Sereni.

Often works together with Sandro Petraglia.

Father of Matteo Rulli.
