Pilar Ruiz(IV)

A Spanish actress and director who normally works on the stage, both in Spain and London. She was born in Bilbao in the Basque region of Spain, lived a long time in Madrid and currently lives in London where she appears on stage and is continuing her doctoral thesis on the London years of Peter Brook. Some of the theatre productions she appeared in ran for over 300 performances. One production toured classical Roman ampitheatres and attracted audiences of up to 5000 people per show. The play Tirante el Blanco (The White Knight) was filmed for Spanish television.
