- Steve Rudnik was born on February 24, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. He met his colleague, Leo Rudnik, in 1978 while studying with Josephine Forsberg at The Players Workshop of Second City. They performed a late night variety show titled "The Steve and Leo Show" twelve years later. They are best known as screenwriters for Disney's 1994 Christmas film The Santa Clause (1994) as well as the Warner Brothers science fiction live action-animated hybrid basketball film Space Jam (1996).
