Irina Rozanova is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, People's Artist of the Russian Federation. When Irina was six months old, the family moved to Ryazan, where her mother and father performed on the stage of the Ryazan Drama Theater. Therefore, the girl, who actually grew up in the theater, was going to become an actress from childhood. At the age of 6 she played her first role on the theater stage. Irina studied at a music school, and then at a music school. She didn't finish the latter, although, according to her, they prophesied a good future for her. The first attempt to enter a theater university was unsuccessful. She failed the audition, in particular, with Yuriy Solomin at the Shchepkinskiy School. She returned home to Ryazan and worked in a costume department for some time. Thanks to the theatrical connections of mother Zoya Vasilyevna, who turned to a teacher she knew in Moscow, Irina still managed to get into a theater university - GITIS, course of Oskar Remez. From the second year she began to serve in parallel with her studies at the Mayakovskiy Theater, where she performed until receiving her diploma in 1988. After graduating from GITIS in 1998, she entered the Chelovek theater studio (she worked there until 1990). In 1991-1998 - actress of the theater on Malaya Bronnaya. In 1998-1999 - actress of the Lenkom Theater.

Since 1985 she has acted in films. Her first screen role was Lyusya in the television film Podruzhka moya (1985). However, widespread success came with the release of the now cult Soviet film Intergirl (1989) directed by Pyotr Todorovskiy. In it, the actress played Sima-Gulliver. Another successful film by the same director, in which Irina Rozanova starred, was the film Encore, Once More Encore! (1992).

Her parents were actors Yuriy Rozanov (1927-2010) and <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm7136089/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Zoya Belova</a> (1927-2015), who were from 1951 and until Rozanov&#39;s death in 2010.

Has an older brother, Pavel Rozanov, who works at the Ryazan State Radio Engineering University. She has nieces and nephews - Pavel&#39;s children.

Has no children and said that she will regret about it all her life, but it isn&#39;t her fault. She suffered a miscarriage during her marriage to <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1552433/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Timur Vaynshteyn</a>.
