Biography

Bill Rowe was born on February 2, 1931 in Crook, Durham, England, UK. He is known for Alien (1979), The Last Emperor (1987) and A Clockwork Orange (1971). He was married to Marina Caine. He died on September 29, 1992 in Northwood, Middlesex, England, UK.

He was the director of the post production sound department at Elstree Studios until his death.

He was joint winner with Don Sharpe and Ivan Sharrock for a Best Sound Stella for The French Lieutanants Woman.
