Biography

Alan Rowe was born on December 14, 1926 in Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand. He was an actor, known for Les Misérables (1967), Paradise Postponed (1986) and An Age of Kings (1960). He died on October 21, 2000 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, England, UK.

Long-term partner of fellow actor Geoffrey Bayldon.

Distinguished-looking character actor, in British films and television from 1957. Noted primarily on screen for his four appearances on Doctor Who (1963) between 1967 and 1980, the best of which was, arguably, Horror of Fang Rock: Part Two (1977).
