Biography

Don Rowan was born on January 22, 1905 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. He was an actor, known for Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (1940), Buried Alive (1939) and Tough Kid (1938). He died on February 16, 1966 in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, USA.

Don Rowan is the paternal uncle of Douglas Rowan (actor), best known for "Tales of Poe" (2014), in the role of "Tyler", nemesis of main character, "Fortunato Montresor". Don Rowan inspired and encouraged his nephew (Douglas Rowan), to become an actor when Douglas was a young boy in the 1960's.
