Olivia Rousset is a two-time Walkley Award winning documentary filmmaker and video journalist. During the early 2000s Olivia spent seven years as a correspondent for SBS TV's international current affairs program Dateline. Filming and reporting alone, she delivered stories from all over the world.
Since then, she has worked on several independent documentaries. At the ABC, she has made several documentaries for Compass and reported for Background Briefing, investigating the medical neglect of children on Nauru and the legal fight to save them. This report repackaged for U.S. program Reveal was nominated for a DART award. Olivia joined the team at Australian Story in 2021 as a producer and camera operator.
