Jack Rourke is the author of the Rational Psychic published in 2012 by Sounds True. He has consulted on such films as The Haunting in Connecticut, Friday the Thirteenth part VII, Push and Insidious. Jack appeared in the special feature documentary Cracking the Crystal Ball. This short film was included in the first season DVD release of the hit TV show The Mentalist and featured Jack as the real-life version of the series lead character, Patrick Jane. In 2009 Jack was dubbed "world-renowned" by the celebrity news web site PopEater.com. He earned this title because of his accurate predictions distributed globally by the Associated Press, his international client work and for consulting on criminal and missing person cases both domestically and abroad. Travel Channel brought Jack on board in 2010 to discuss paranormal phenomena in a program called "Who are these Ghostly lovers." In this docuseries, Mr. Rourke outlined the history and potential causes for experiences known as spectrophelia. Later that same year, "Weird or What" starring William Shatner featured Jack on History Channel Canada. Then in June of 2010 CNN reached out to Jack after the untimely death of pop superstar Michal Jackson to get a spiritual perspective of the icon's passing. In fall 2012 following the release of Jack's best-selling book, NBC hired him to appear on the Trisha Goddard Show. This program has Jack provide spontaneous street readings and provide controversial predictions for 2013 that shockingly turned out to be true. Months later Mr. Rourke was then hired by Fox television to provide insight into the Casey Anthony murder mystery for Ricki Lake. In 2016 Jack lent his expert commentary to the film "Ghosts and the Hereafter". Billed as the definitive documentary on ghosts and the afterlife, this production featured interviews with Dr. Raymond Moody Ph.D., James Van Praagh, and DR. Norm Shealy and others. 2017 saw Jack featured in a two-part interview on Russian State Media's REN TV. Following the success of these special interviews, Russia's News Channel One recognized him as the top psychic in the United States. Then in 2018 Buzzfeed media hired Jack for a fun featurette produced by Aria Inthavong. Featuring Jack as the top love psychic in Los Angeles, this short-film saw Jack coach Aria - supporting him in his goal of finding a true soulmate in only 48 hours. Crossing over into 2019 CBS's TV Guide Channel invited Jack and a team of other experts to discuss Game of Thrones epic final season. Ultimately each was asked to predict who would sit on the iron throne. Jack correctly asserted the throne would be destroyed. Before becoming a best-selling author and paranormal consultant, Mr. Rourke as a young person won several awards for writing and took a top prize in a statewide art exhibition for sculpture. He turned down a full scholarship to a state college to instead live and travel overseas working as both an actor and a model. Over the next several years he appeared in countless regional plays and TV commercials. Most notable, while living in Ireland, Jack starred in an edgy MTV styled TV advertisement for the Irish national building society. As a model in the early 1990's Ireland, he was pictured in and on everything from denim jeans, bill boards, underwear packaging and scores of newspaper and magazine advertisements. However, Jack is most proud of being the cover model for the Irish trade board's campaign to broaden the appeal of products bearing the emblem "Made in Ireland". This catalogue was distributed throughout the European Union. Jack not being an Irish National was a closely guarded secret. Consequently, he was then hired to represent then British designer of the year Jon Rocha in a dramatic BBC televised fashion show at Dromoland Castle in the west of Ireland. Upon settling in Los Angeles, Jack enrolled in the prestigious Howard Fine Acting Academy. There he was mentored by multi-award-winning director/producer, Michael Arabian. For five years Jack studied with Mr. Arabian and later assisted him with stage productions and classes. Jack was nominated for a Dramalogue and Ovation award for his performance in the critically acclaimed west coast premiere of David Rabe's "Streamers" at the Hudson theatre in Los Angeles. He then went on to produce a series of original works at the Hudson and eventually became a founding member and strong voice on the creative board of directors of the Hudson theatre's short-lived resident company. By this time, Rourke had appeared on American TV in such programs as "The Young and the Restless", the WB's "Jack & Jill" and in films such as "Telling You" and other direct to video releases. Jack retired from pursuing work as an actor in 1999 after cultivating a side passion for traveling assisting others live their dreams. Having been intrigued by Psychical research since childhood, Jack founded a company called Paranormal Media Services and began a full-time consulting practice.
