- In addition to her career as an actress, she was also a singer and lyricist. In 1959, she recorded an album of love songs, Después de media noche..., for the Mexican RCA Victor label. In the late 1960s, she wrote the lyrics to the Top 10 hit "El despertar", a song with music by her then-husband Rubén Fuentes.
- Her father, Sándor "Alejandro" Roth, was a Hungarian-Jewish violinist and a member of the Léner Quartet.
- She and David Silva were one of Mexico's most popular screen couples. She was his leading lady in four movies: Una familia de tantas (1949), No me quieras tanto... (1949), Ventarrón (1949), and Anillo de compromiso (1951).
- At one point I decided to sing and I think I did not do so badly, since I recorded for RCA Victor. But I think I had more success as a composer because, of the 20 songs that I have, there were several hits, such as "El despertar".
