Biography

Emanuela Rossi began her artistic activity in dubbing films and cartoons at an early age. Among the best known are "The Aristocats" and "Pippi Longstocking". Parallel to her dubbing career, she worked as an actress in television series. The dubbing activity continued unabated over the years with leading roles. Just to name a few, "Grease", "Scarface", "Blade Runner", "The Age of Innocence", "What Remains of the Day", "Blue Jasmine", becoming the official voice of actresses such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Emma Thompson, and Kate Blanchett. There are also performances in radio dramas. She also participated as a voice actress in 'No Activity' directed by Valerio Vestoso. Her career as an actress was launched in the 1980s when she made her theatre debut as leading actress with Sergio Fantoni. She would later work with Gigi Proietti, Riccardo Cucciola, and Umberto Orsini (the latter in "Misanthrope"), and in comedies by contemporary Italian authors. In cinema we see her in various films by Vanzina up to her participation in the film 'Pantani'.
