John was born in Arnprior, Ontario, Canada and raised in neighboring
Nepean/Ottawa. He's lived in Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Well traveled, - 26 countries - and has worked in 22 of them.
John was a member of the Canadian Trampoline Team before switching sports and competing for the Canadian Aerial Freestyle Ski team. During his competitive days he traveled the world and won world cup medals in both trampoline and aerial skiing. Highlights include; 4 time National trampoline champion, Bronze medalist at the World Trampoline Championships and Silver medalist at the World Freestyle Skiing Championships.
Upon retiring from skiing he ventured into the film industry and has worked as an actor / stuntman / rigger / and stunt coordinator.
Within the last few years John has moved into production safety where he has had the opportunity to apply his 30+ years' experience to help productions create a safe working environment and culture for all staff cast and crew.
