Marc Roskin

Biography

  • As a founding partner of Electric Entertainment, Marc Roskin has been a driving force behind the company's award-winning television and feature film production. Since opening Electric's doors with Dean Devlin in 2001, Marc has developed and produced each of the company's features, including critically acclaimed Who Killed the Electric Car? Flyboys, Cellular, Geostorm, Bad Samaritan, and The Deal.

In Electric's television division, Marc helped create and executive produce 2004's highest-rated cable movie, "The Librarian," and its two sequels and the spin-off television series. He was at the helm of T.N.T.'s People's Choice Award-winning series "Leverage," which he executive produced and directed more than 20 episodes. Marc served as executive producer and director of pilot episodes of Electric's series, "Almost Paradise." Additionally, Marc resumed his role as executive producer and director on The C.W. series, "The Outpost." He produced the Sci-Fi Channel's six-hour miniseries, "The Triangle," T.N.T.'s micro-series "Blank Slate," and independently directed episodes of "S.W.A.T.," "Krypton," "Sleepy Hollow," "Covert Affairs," "Burn Notice," "Common Law," "Dallas," "The Glades," "Killer Women," "Graceland," "FBI: Most Wanted," and "Chicago P.D."

Marc recently executively produced and directed multiple episodes of Electric's series, "Leverage: Redemption", a reboot of the original "Leverage" T.V. series with four of the original cast members Gina Bellman as Sophia Devereux, Aldis Hodges as Alec Hardison, Christian Kane as Eliot Spencer, returning alongside newest cast member Noah Wyle as Harry Sullivan. "Leverage: Redemption" is streaming in the U.S. on Amazon's IMDb TV as one of the platforms first original programs.

Before his tenure at Electric Entertainment, Marc was Senior Vice President at Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin's production company, Centropolis Entertainment. Marc was instrumental in the development and production of films such as Godzilla, The Patriot, Eight Legged Freaks, and The Thirteenth Floor.
