  • Mark is a Tony Award-nominated and Olivier Award-winning British writer and director for stage and screen. He is represented by Katie Haines at The Agency, London and CAA in the US.

    His debut play, Giant, premiered to great acclaim at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs, London from September-November 2024, directed by Nicholas Hytner and starring John Lithgow as Roald Dahl, Elliot Levey, Romola Garai and Rachael Stirling. Giant won Best New Play at the Olivier Awards and Critics Circle Awards before transferring to The Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End in April 2025. In March 2026, Giant opened on Broadway, proving a commercial hit and receiving four Tony nominations, including Best Play. John Lithgow won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play.

    Mark wrote & directed the award-winning short film Ganef, which played at multiple Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals internationally, sold to HBO Europe and Oscar-qualified for the Live Action Short category in 2022. He also co-wrote Dominic Dromgoole's feature film debut Making Noise Quietly, adapted (with Nick Drake and Robert Holman from Holman's play of the same title). It was released in UK cinemas by Verve Pictures in 2019. His other shorts include Cleopatra and Newborn for BFI and Shakespeare's Globe.

    He is currently developing a feature screenplay for Good Chaos, Film 4 and MUBI. He was selected as one of Variety's 'Ten Brits to Watch' in 2026.
