Bonnie Root(I)

Bonnie Root was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Early highlights include the Sundance Foundation film, Eden, followed by a series regular role in the NBC family drama, Trinity, produced by John Wells. Root also starred in Showtime original, The Ranch opposite Amy Madigan, and in indie comedy features, Coming Soon with Mia Farrow and Ryan Reynolds and In The Weeds, with Molly Ringwald and Ellen Pompeo. She was also a recur on hit series Cold Case for two seasons, and more recently guest starred on The Rookie. She has appeared as a guest or recur on over 40 TV shows. Bonnie stars in the lead role in forthcoming horror/psychological thriller Don't Let Them Out, winner of Best Feature at both La Femme film festival and Dark Matter in Los Angeles and Best Actress at Indie Vegas. Root's latest starring role is in feature film Wake Up Maggie, which recently completed filming in Oregon in fall 2025.
