- She was one of the survivors of the airplane accident that happened on 30/12/1958, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A Scandia aircraft, belonging to VASP airlines, departing from Airport Santos Dumont in Rio and heading for São Paulo, had its left engine on fire a few seconds after take-off, falling in the waters of Baía de Guanabara. Rose Rondelli and her mother survived the accident.
