Tony Rohr was born on May 21, 1939 in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, Ireland. He was an actor, known for Leap Year (2010), The Double (2013) and The Long Good Friday (1980). He was married to Janet Revell. He died on October 29, 2023.

Has a daughter Louise with Pauline Collins. Pauline gave her up for adoption when she was penniless and a single mother at the age of 23. The pair were reunited 22 years later. Pauline's book, Letter To Louise, documented these events.

Craggy Irish character actor who has acted on stage at London's West End, The Gate, The Gaiety, Ireland's Abbey Theatre, The Royal Court, and The National Theatre. Especially noted for his roles in classic plays by Sean O'Casey, John Millington Synge, Brendan Behan and John B. Keane. A prolific presence on British television as guest actor in series like Special Branch, The Sweeney, Van der Valk, The Bill, Maigret, Hustle and New Tricks.
