Has dual citizenship (US and German).

Is a first cousin, once removed, of wrestler Hulk Hogan, and a second cousin of Hulk's daughter, Brooke Hogan. Elisabeth's maternal great-grandparents, Peter Bollea and Edith Medora Noonan, were also Hulk's paternal grandparents and Brooke's paternal great-grandparents.

Goes horseback riding four times a week. Started riding horses at age five and switched from "show jumping" to "dressage" to calm the Law & Order (1990) producers, who thought she might get hurt.

Fluent in German.

Raised by a hippie mother who prided herself on being "au naturel".

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a German father and an American mother. Her mother, from Memphis, TN, was three-quarters Italian descent, with the rest of her ancestry being Irish and English. Her parents moved to New York during her early childhood, and she was raised there.
