Biography

Glòria Rognoni was born in 1944 in Spain. She was an actress, known for Boom Boom (1990), Lletres catalanes (1974) and Hablamos español - Wir lernen Spanisch (1971). She died on August 1, 2025 in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

In the early 2010s, she had the responsibility to take part in the ceremonies of the Barcelona Paralympic Games.

It was in 1975, during a rehearsal of the show "Alias Serrallonga", when a fall left her paraplegic of the lower limbs. Months after the accident, shocked by the radical turn she had to face in her life, she left theater to study medicine.

In 2015, she received the Anna Lizaran Honorary Seat Award in recognition of her career and her work with Femarec as a reference of social theater in Catalonia. Femarec is a social theater cooperative with people with intellectual disabilities.
