Biography

João Pedro Rodrigues was born on August 24, 1966 in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a director and writer, known for Will-o'-the-Wisp (2022), To Die Like a Man (2009) and The Last Time I Saw Macao (2012).

Studied at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon from 1985 to 1989.

Before shooting his first own movie, he had been assistant to notable directors such as Alberto Seixas Santos or Teresa Villaverde.
