Earle Rodney was born on June 4, 1888 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was a writer and actor, known for Uppercut O'Brien (1929), The College Kiddo (1927) and Clancy at the Bat (1929). He was married to Leona Adelle Domke. He died on December 16, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Actor/writer Earle Rodney had also worked as a laborer, truck driver, sign painter, plumber's assistant, carpenter, soap salesman, sewing machine inspector, shipping clerk, stationary buyer, bookkeeper, bank clerk and newspaper entertainment critic.

Leading man in silent screen comedies, who worked for Mack Sennett and Al Christie. Later turned to writing and directing.
