  • Actress of the 1930's and 40's, initially known as 'Mildred Claire'. She started on screen in Busby Berkeley musicals at Warner Brothers. By the mid-30's she had graduated to western leading lady, appearing in films alongside Johnny Mack Brown, Bob Steele and Ken Maynard. Her career eventually declined and she spent her last years in the business in supporting roles at Producer's Releasing Corporation (PRC), often as bad girls.
