Claudia Rocafort is a multicultural and multilingual SAG-AFTRA and AEA actress whose career spans television, film, theater, voiceover and more than 200 national and international commercials.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Rocafort grew up in a multicultural family with deep ties to both film and theater. Her Spanish father, Juan Antonio Rocafort, was a film producer in Spain, while her New York-born mother, Aura Siso, and grandmother fostered her early love of theater. Of Spanish, Venezuelan, Colombian, Scottish and English heritage, Rocafort grew up bilingual speaking English and Spanish and began performing as a dancer at the age of five, continuing her dance training and performance through college.
Initially pursuing Pre-Med at Tufts University, Rocafort ultimately followed her lifelong passion for performance, earning her B.A. with a double major in Drama and Art History before continuing her training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City.
Rocafort began her professional acting career in New York theater, making her Off-Broadway debut in the Working Theater production of Cherrie Moraga's Heroes and Saints. She subsequently made her television debut in the recurring role of Delia on One Life to Live. Her television credits include Spin City, The Glades, Burn Notice, Los Secretos de Lucía, and the recurring guest-star role of Poppy on The CW's Life Sentence.
She made her feature-film debut as Sasha Rollins, the female lead in the independent comedy The Definite Maybe, opposite Bob Balaban and Josh Lucas. Her film work also includes Confessions of a Shopaholic, Step Up Revolution, I Want You Back, and Forge. In addition to her film and television work, Claudia has built an extensive international commercial and voiceover career, appearing in campaigns filmed across 11 countries and working professionally in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
