- Edward G. Robinson Jr. died only 1 year after the death of his father.
- Was supposedly the model for the character Eddie G. in Blonde (2001), the mini-series version of the Joyce Carol Oates novel. This character is involved in a sexual threesome with Marilyn Monroe and a character called Cass Chaplin that was supposedly inspired by Charles Chaplin Jr.. The three did know each other, but apparently not in this context.
