- Don Robertson was born on December 5, 1922 in Peking, China. He was a writer, known for Election (1999), A Perfect World (1993) and A Love Song for Bobby Long (2004). He died on March 16, 2015 in Lake Sherwood, California, USA.
- American pianist/whistler and composer. He moved to Chicago with his family at age four and began composing at age seven. He wrote twelve songs for Elvis Presley and created the Nashville piano style.
