Biography

Bud Robertson

Biography

  • Bud Robertson is a writer-producer with a degree in film production from UCLA and a 20-year professional resume that reflects his true jack-of-all-trades capabilities and attitudes. Bud serves as producer and president of Mystic Pictures, a company he formed with his wife to produce feature films and educational projects that broaden the mind and uplift the spirit.

Prior to launching full-time operations at Mystic Pictures, Bud served for 7 years as a producer at GOAL Productions. At GOAL, he produced nearly 50 behind-the-scenes documentaries and DVD bonus features, which he occasionally directed and edited as well. Bud also helped create Shadowland Films, a feature division of GOAL Productions that produced the ghost thriller "Spectres" and developed "Til Lies Do Us Part" and "The Love of Her Life" as premiere movies for Lifetime Television. He also produced, directed and/or edited countless industrial projects for corporate clients like the Tournament of Roses, Boeing and the American Humane Association.

Bud's freelance career includes work as a Screenwriter (features and television), First Assistant Director (various independent features) and Production Coordinator (network sitcoms). In the distribution arena, Bud worked for 4 years at Noble Entertainment Group, serving variously as International Sales Rep, Contract Servicing Manager and Production Accountant. From blank page to field production to foreign delivery, there's hardly a step he's missed in the production chain...

Bud is happily married to his best friend Beth Conwell and celebrates life with their two daughters, Sara and Jenny.
