Biography

Stephen Roberts was born on July 25, 1917 in Floral Park, Long Island, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Gog (1954), Julius Caesar (1953) and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955). He died on October 26, 1999 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

He is probably the only actor to have played President Franklin D. Roosevelt in four different films and one mini-series (five times total), four of the roles were consecutive (one in 1978, in the mini-series in 1979, and two in 1980), the fifth was a non-consecutive movie in 1967, and with another, unrelated role (in 1972), consecutively before the four Roosevelt roles, where he was credited simply as "President," although that was most likely as a fictional, unrelated, non-Roosevelt president.
