- Alice Roberts was born on July 26, 1906 in Belgium. She was an actress, known for Pandora's Box (1929), Das Schicksal derer von Habsburg - Die Tragödie eines Kaiserreiches (1928) and La femme rêvée (1929). She died on October 29, 1985 in Belgium.
- Her depiction of Countess Anna Geschwitz in _Pandora's Box (1929)_ is considered to be the first lesbian character shown on screen.
- She took part in the movies Die Büchse der Pandora" (29) with Louise Brooks, and "Der lustige Witwer" (29) before she changed to the French film, probably because of the rise of the sound film.
