Biography

Alan Roberts was born on September 18, 1948 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Dinosaurus! (1960), Playhouse 90 (1956) and Ben Casey (1961). He was married to Antoinette Marie Costello. He died on March 21, 2008 in Palm Springs, California, USA.

Alan was known to have picked up hitchhikers and people with disabilities and help them in whatever way he could; to a weary traveler or someone hurting in some way, a friendly face and gesture with a spot to sleep for a night with a hot meal was a small comfort.

Sometimes, Alan and his family would spend many nights at Denny's or Carrows restaurants and YumYum Donuts where people would gather at night to drink coffee and listen to him play his guitar.

In addition to his family, three of his greatest loves were his guitars, his motorcycles and his old yellow truck.

Alan was an avid guitarist.

Alan went on to become a truck driver retiring in 1996.
