Biography

Georges Rivière was born on July 1, 1924 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He is an actor, known for The Longest Day (1962), Mistress of the World (1960) and Mandrin (1962). He has been married to Lucile Saint-Simon since 1988.

He is considered also an Argentine actor, as he began his career and spent most of the 1950s shooting films in Argentina.

Lives with his wife in Ibiza, Spain since 1960.

In the 1950s, he made films in Argentina under the pseudonym "Jorge Rivier." He resumed his career in France in 1958 and retired in 1970.
