Biography

Steven Ritch was born on December 26, 1921 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Plunder Road (1957), City of Fear (1959) and Wagon Train (1957). He died on July 20, 1995 in Rogue River, Oregon, USA.

Served in World War II on Guadalcanal, fighting in some of the worst battles.

Planned on being a lawyer after the war, but got into acting instead.

Intense-looking and swarthy, he's remembered by horror fans as the title character in The Werewolf.

Wrote and acted in two critically acclaimed "film noirs"-- City of Fear (1959) and Plunder Road (1957).
