- Heather is best remembered as the little girl in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in which she appeared while aged seven..In her mid-teens, she tried to get into modeling or television work without success. She then trained as an optician, following in her father's footsteps. She gave this job up in 1995 to join the protests at Faslane Nuclear Submarine Base.

- Heather now lives in the Eco village at the world famous spiritual community Findhorn Foundation in the North east of Scotland where she works as a therapist.
- Having appeared in one film, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) at the age of seven, she went to Ireland with her mother and sought anonymity. After a brief foray with acting and modelling at the age of seventeen, and training as an optician, she now devotes her time to "eco-warrior" protests outside the Faslane nuclear submarine base near Greenock in Scotland, UK.
