Lisa Riley was born on July 13, 1976 in Bury, Greater Manchester, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Emmerdale Farm (1972), Fat Friends (2000) and The Woolpackers: Emmerdance (1996).

Won Best Newcomer Award at the 1997 National Television Awards.

Mother is Cath, father is Terry.

Studied at Oldham Theatre Workshop.

Has appeared in pantomimes twice at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.

First in 1999/00 as Fairy Bowbells in "Dick Whittington," alongside Paul Chuckle, Barry Chuckle, Tony Peers, Maurice Thorogood, Peter Byrne and Katie Budd.

Then in 2015/16 as The Spirit of the Beans in "Jack and the Beanstalk," alongside Billy Pearce, John Challis, and Jake Canuso.

She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours List for her services to Drama and Charity. She is an actress in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
