Edwin Richfield was born on September 11, 1921 in London, England, UK. He was an actor and writer, known for Five Million Years to Earth (1967), Interpol Calling (1959) and Harriet's Back in Town (1972). He was married to Jan Holden. He died on August 2, 1990 in Shrewsbury, England, UK.

As well as acting, had a successful business (with his wife Jan Holden), making glass fibre portable outside cabins.

British character actor of stage and screen, often seen in officious or military roles. A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he was part of the inaugural Shakespeare Project, held in New York in October 1983 at the Upper West Side Theatre.
