He was a producer and writer, known for Garota Enxuta (1959), Marido de Mulher Boa (1960) and Um Candango na Belacap (1961). He was married to Izath Guimarães and Lolita Maria Bustanoby Bello. He died on 20 November 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
