Biography

Paul Richards was born on November 23, 1924 in Hollywood, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), Monkey on My Back (1957) and The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967). He was married to Monica Keating and Paula Morgan. He died on December 10, 1974 in Culver City, California, USA.

He played the first character on Gunsmoke (1955) to shoot Marshal Matt Dillon and the first character on Hawaii Five-O (1968) about whom Steve McGarrett said, "Book him, Danno!".

Interred in Culver City, CA, at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in the "Alcove of Love", next to Moe Howard of The Three Stooges.

Earned a Masters Degree of Theater Arts from UCLA.

Paul looks amazingly like Johnny Cash in some photos and roles.
