Biography

Elena Sofia Ricci was born on March 29, 1962 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. She is an actress and director, known for Loose Cannons (2010), Another Simple Favor (2025) and Io e mia sorella (1987).

Two daughters: Emma (b.1996), with actor and director Pino Quartullo, and Maria (b.2005), with composer and conductor Stefano Mainetti.

Daughter of actress Elena Poccetto Ricci and Paolo Barucchieri. Stepdaughter of director Pino Passalacqua. She has three half-siblings on her father's side, one half-sister is the dancer Elisa Barucchieri.
