- Manon Rheaume was born on February 24, 1972 in Lac Beauport, Québec, Canada. She is a producer, known for Between the Pipes, Manon Rheaume: The Woman Behind the Mask (2000) and Nagano 1998: XVIII Olympic Winter Games (1998).
- Played goaltender for the following hockey teams during her career: Atlanta Knights (IHL), Las Vegas Thunder (IHL), Knoxville Cherokees (ECHL), Nashville Knights (ECHL), and Charlotte Checkers (ECHL). Also played roller hockey for the New Jersey Rockin' Rollers and Sacramento River Rats.
- First woman to play in a junior hockey match for the Trois-Rivieres Draveurs (QMJHL) during the 1991-1992 season.
- Had a pre-season tryout with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 1992.
- Became the first woman to play in the NHL during the 1992 pre-season for the Tampa Bay Lightning, playing goaltender.
- Member of the 1998 Canadian women's Olympic Hockey Team.
