- Else Reval was born on June 14, 1893 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Er und sein Diener (1931), Immer nur Du (1941) and A Man Wants to Get to Germany (1934). She died on January 25, 1978 in West Berlin, West Germany.
- Trained as a ballerina, she first appeared on stage dancing with the Deutsche Oper in 1907. By 1914, Reval had switched to acting and worked regularly as a comedienne in Berlin theatres, as well as in silent movies. If anything, her career in sound film blossomed, popularly cast as jovial cooks, gossips, chatty wives or assorted 'fat ladies'.
